About Me
Hi, I’m Kaleb Paddock. I’m the Founder of Ten Talents. I'm blessed to be regularly featured in CNBC, MONEY, and Business Insider personal finance articles.My clients are eyeing retirement decisions, often work at tech firms, or have experienced a sudden money event (inheritance, home sale, business sale, stock IPO, gift). I love bringing confidence and clarity to your financial situation and I’m passionate about helping you take control of your financial future.
I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) Professional based in Parker, Colorado and I'm a fiduciary and fee-only advisor. Put simply, this means that I don't sell you financial products, I act in your best interest at all times, and my pricing is clear and easy to understand.
I work with clients in Parker, CO; Castle Rock, CO; Denver, CO and also virtually with clients across the country.
I grew up the oldest of six children in historic Grass Valley, California. To pay for college at The Master's University, I started a math tutoring business during my freshman year. Four years later, I graduated with a degree in Finance (and a minor in running a small business!).
While designing 401(k) plans for business owners in the San Francisco Bay Area, I identified a tremendous need for fiduciary financial advice, which set me on a path to ultimately founding Ten Talents Financial Planning.
I’m also a member of the XY Planning Network, NAPFA, FeeOnlyNetwork, and Institute for the Fiduciary Standard. I participate in a number of Mastermind Study Groups with fiduciary financial advisors who are all committed to passionate, lifelong learning and improvement within the financial planning profession.
My wife, our four young sons, and I live in beautiful Parker, Colorado. When I'm not crafting financial plans, I enjoy playing disc golf at Westcreek in Parker, actively participating in our local church, traveling with family, volunteering as game director with AWANA, serving as a youth leader with Trail Life, and eating at Jersey Mike's. (#13 all the way!)

The name Ten Talents comes from a biblical parable found in the Book of Matthew. In the parable, a talent is a measure of precious metal. It has value.
Ultimately, the purpose of the story is to encourage good management of valuable resources. The talents are, according to the parable, gifts from Creator God. It’s our job to manage them wisely.

Kaleb breaks things down into a plan, explains the plan in plain terminology and is a seasoned advisor. Kaleb is on top of things, passionate, but not brash, and understanding that we are still working and living life. Working in IT, I know Kaleb is able to maximize complex applications to present the data in a meaningful way. This means we are better able to make the correct choices for the myriad of decisions that we need to make. We feel much more confident having this knowledge going forward and planning for the here and now, as well as the long term. There are a number of options out there for the consumer, knowing what we are getting up front and Kaleb's transparency gives us a great deal of satisfaction in the choice we made to go with Kaleb.

In our initial search for a financial planner, we interviewed several potential candidates and Kaleb/Ten Talents clearly stood out among the group. His overall approach, interest our personal goals and objectives, along with his easy to understand and straightforward pricing model made the choice an easy one. Kaleb is very proactive and stays on top of the game – we have a consistent meeting cadence so that we are always thinking ahead, staying on the same page, and not missing out on any opportunities. Kaleb is also very responsive to any changes in plan or other questions that we have and is always available for a call or meeting to touch base. Furthermore, Kaleb’s honesty and integrity are unquestioned – he is candid in his approach and always identifies any risks accompanied by options to address and mitigate the risk. I've been looking for someone like Kaleb for a long time. I've always been leery of financial planners because they are always trying to sell you insurance. Kaleb is astute, ethnical, and kind. He truly has your BEST interest in mind. He really takes the time to learn about you and your goals and what type of life you want to live and puts a plan in place to help you get there. Best of all, he'll help you no matter your financial level. I can't recommend him enough and think every person should have a financial planner like Kaleb.
