About Me
With over a decade of experience in the financial industry, Hazel Secco is a qualified and experienced financial planner. Additionally, she is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, a designation that requires a rigorous course of study and ongoing professional education. Additionally, it demonstrates her commitment to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and client service.Hazel worked at large financial companies in her early career as a financial planner. Then, she was recognized as a top-tier advisor in the firm where she had opportunities to build extensive knowledge in comprehensive financial planning with other top financial advisors. Hence, she quickly qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table in her early years. However, she had her own vision of joining an independent financial firm after finding the sales-first approach of large financial institutions did not always align with her client’s needs.
Hazel discovered a skewed relationship between female clients and male professionals, particularly in male-dominated industries such as law or finance, over the years. After wanting to advocate for women who may struggle to express their goals and values, she has made it her mission. Drawing from her own upbringing and past experiences, she understands the challenge of finding her own voice. Now, she is determined to empower other women to find their true voice as well.
Hazel founded Align Financial Solutions, LLC to concentrate on what she cares about most, her clients. Every client has a unique situation and background. Hazel wants to understand each client’s goals and values to align them with their financial plan. As a female independent advisor, Hazel provides collaborative and personalized advice as a fiduciary and solely focuses on her advisory client’s needs.
Hazel’s passions span diverse interests, from exploring art galleries to enjoying quality time with her husband and daughters in Hoboken and NYC. She finds inspiration in nature documentaries and dedicates her free time to painting, indulging her creative side beyond the realms of work.
In addition, Hazel is passionate about giving back to the community by empowering underrepresented women. She dedicates her time to providing pro bono speaking engagements for non-profit organizations, aiming to educate women and enhance their financial literacy.
