About Me

As part of our financial planning team, Lauren Beckett (Russo) guides clients on their journey to their next chapter. Whether that’s retirement, travel, volunteerism, or another goal, she helps clients envision their future, identify their goals, and develop and implement a plan for reaching them.

In addition to serving our clients, Lauren offers guidance to the whole Berkshire community, regardless of age or income, during Open Office Hours. She’s on a mission to increase financial literacy in our region!

In addition to her work with BMM’s financial planning clients, Lauren also helps small business owners plan for their exit and retirement through sale, partial sale, transfer to the next generation, or simply riding off into the sunset.

Lauren became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2023. She hopes that her certification will influence other women and girls to work in the financial planning and advising industry and increase gender parity in what has been traditionally a male-dominated field (in 2022, fewer than 25% of CFP® professionals identified as female).

Lauren grew up in Pittsfield, where she lives today with her husband, Brian, and their puppy, Penny. She is proud to be part of an organization that makes giving back to this community a core part of its culture. Lauren hopes to one day use her financial skills and business management knowledge to create a non-profit of her own.
